The Society, Culture & Learning section examines the complex feedback loops between individual cognitive architecture, cultural systems, and institutional structures. By synthesizing behavioral science, sociology, and educational theory, this research pipeline provides empirical clarity on how humans navigate modern environments and social systems.
Our psychological and cognitive research focuses heavily on the neurobiology of individual behavior and emotional regulation. We explore the physiological underpinnings of mental health challenges—investigating the shared mechanisms of loneliness, anxiety, and depression, the limits of human multitasking, and the evolutionary functions of emotions like boredom, envy, and nostalgia.
